The second story in the Foundation series which spanned 12 issues over almost a decade in Astounding Science Fiction before being published as a standalone novel in 1951. The first edition novels sell for thousands of dollars, but few realize they were simply republished stories from Astounding. This second issue can be more difficult to find than the first.
